Hi it's Kaye. Thanks to Kim at our last class discussion I have been using Draw Now during the day. I have used it in language arts and math. I read Where The Wild Things Are and just before the reading I had the children draw a wild thing. I got animals, weather, make-believe creatures and one little girl drew what her house would look like after a wild temper tantrum. The children shared in pairs and were really motivated to hear the story.
